Why We Chose Aidah Bukubuza
Aidah is a passionate advocate for digital inclusion with over eight years of experience in ICT, data management, and telecommunications. As the Team Lead at AYDIA Gender and Technology Initiative (AGTI), she is at the forefront of empowering girls and women in STEM, ensuring that Uganda’s tech industry becomes more inclusive and diverse.
Her expertise in digital transformation and safety is widely recognized. Aidah is a Chevening Scholar (2021/22), Mandela Washington Fellow (2018), and a fellow of Safe Sisters for Digital Safety and Tuwezeshe for Digital Gender Equality.
A Leader in Digital Transformation & Advocacy
Aidah holds a Master’s degree in Digital Information Management and Systems Innovation from the University of Leeds and works as a digital safety and transformation consultant. Through her work, she bridges the gender digital divide, ensuring that technology is not just accessible but also safe for women and girls.
