This year, as part of our commitment to celebrating women in tech, we are thrilled to introduce “Spidd’s Tech She-Roes 2025”, a campaign dedicated to recognizing the incredible women shaping Uganda’s digital future.
Why We Are Celebrating She-Roes
Women continue to drive innovation, leadership, and transformation across Uganda’s tech landscape. From mentoring young talents to pioneering groundbreaking solutions, their impact is undeniable. However, these contributions often go unrecognized. Spidd Africa is committed to changing that narrative by spotlighting the women who are shaping the industry.
What to Expect
On March 7, 2025, leading up to International Women’s Day, we will honor 12 exceptional women who are making a difference in tech. Each honoree will receive:
🌟 A Special Appreciation Award – A token of recognition for their contributions.
💐 A Beautiful Bouquet of Flowers – A heartfelt gesture of appreciation.
📢 Digital Spotlights & Features – Their stories will be shared across our digital platforms.

Each awardee will receive their award and bouquet during Women’s Week, with live updates posted on our social media platforms. If you or someone you know is driving change in tech, keep an eye out—you could be one of our She-Roes!
