It has been nearly 3 weeks since Uganda marked a major milestone with the official commissioning of the National IP Peering Exchange (NIPX).
Launched by the National Information Technology Authority–Uganda under the Uganda Digital Acceleration Project (UDAP-GovNet), in partnership with the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance, NIPX stands as the country’s first neutral and open Internet Exchange Point.
At Spidd, we are proud to have supported the event infrastructure and technical execution that enabled this important moment. While our role remained behind the scenes in line with the neutrality of the initiative, contributing to such a national digital milestone is a highlight we value deeply.
From planning to delivery, this was about one thing: ensuring a seamless, reliable environment worthy of a project shaping Uganda’s digital future.
